Spring Break Essentials

If you’re headed to warmer weather and sandy beaches this spring break, you’ll want to make sure to pack the essentials.
Bring a cheap paperback novel/book.
Let’s face it, sand, water, and a kindle don’t mix. Leave the expensive electronics at home in favor of a cheap paperback. Whether passing some time on the plane, in the car, or even on the beach, you won’t have to worry about sand, water, or anything else ruining your device.
Bring a cute cover up
Cover-ups are perfect to throw on and run to grab lunch or a drink. They’re easier than a full outfit and you’ll be thankful to have one if a sudden thunderstorm rolls in.
Sunscreen
We know what you’re thinking. “It’s not even that hot, It’s only March, it’s cloudy out! I don’t need sunscreen.” You do. Trust us.
Don’t forget to pack water
Most people forgo water in favor of soda or other dehydrating beverages. Don’t forget to bring bottle or two of water along to stay hydrated and feeling your best!
Sunglasses
Sunglasses are a must have, but don’t bring your $100 dollar pair on spring break. Sunglasses on spring break are often smashed under coolers, sat on, and sometimes flung into the ocean. Daisy Exchange has a large selection of sunglasses at conservative prices that won’t leave you in tears when they are accidently mixed in with a sand castle.
Hat
Bring along a multi-functional hat that can work double duty to shield your face and also serve as a cute accessory.
Bring a sheet or blanket
Bring a cheap sheet or light blanket that you don’t mind getting sandy. It’s better at preventing sand from getting all over you than a towel and you don’t have to worry about getting it wet!
We hope you have a great spring break! Wishing you happy and safe travels!
